Sun Valley Security Personnel works to protect the resort property, maintain records, observe that employees guests stay within the guidelines of the resort policies and rules, observe violations of security and safety regulations through periodic inspections and take appropriate action in event of emergencies or irregularities in accordance with established procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Make periodic inspections of buildings, grounds, machinery and equipment
Watch for and guard against fire, vandalism, illegal entry, infraction of safety and disciplinary regulations and enforcement of company rules.
Patrol exits and entrances of buildings.
Check to see that company property is not removed from a building without proper approvals.
Enforce established parking regulations; maintain car identification file on all employees’ cars.
Take appropriate action in case of accidents, death or various other types of emergencies, and submit proper reports of all incidents to a supervisor and Risk Management.
Trained in and ability to utilize fire protection knowledge in event of an emergency; make periodic inspections of the resorts fire protection alarm system.
Check in new employees during after-hours. Issue bedding, dorm keys, and hand out dorm agreement slip. Take new employee / employees to The Place.
Check employee I.D. card and record information when polices and dorm rules have been abused.
Open doors for fellow employees when dorm lock-outs, set-ups, guest, maintenance, etc. need into a building or room.
Escort employees to the hospital for medical emergencies or to Dr. McClure for drug testing.
Perform special assignments as requested or assigned.
Utilize knowledge gained through extensive and ongoing training in CPR, AED and First Aid.
Provide service functions through safe lockouts, noise complaints, lost items, lost & found etc.
Provide security and fire protection for the resort.
Maintain a courteous and professional image with all levels of employees including management officials as well as guest and visitors.
